Kevin Welsh

Kevin Welsh is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in structural analysis and program management in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as the Director of Programs for Orbital Missions & Services at Sierra Nevada Corporation since March 2015, Kevin has led multidisciplinary engineering teams and played key roles in various high-profile projects, including the RFCM C-130J modification and the Freedom military jet trainer program. Prior positions at Boeing and Orbital Sciences Corporation provided additional expertise in structural integrity analysis and design for commercial and military aircraft, alongside coordination of methodologies for launch vehicle programs. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a certification in Computer Aided Structural Analysis from UC Irvine.
