Philip Austin

Philip "P.J." Austin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Tax at SIFMA since June of 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Tax and Economic Policy Advisor at the United States Senate from January 2020 to June 2023. Philip "P.J." also served as a Legislative Assistant at the United States Senate from October 2015 to January 2020.

Before their time at the Senate, Austin was an Associate Director of Policy/Government Affairs, a Manager of Policy/Government Affairs, and a Policy/Government Affairs Associate at Citizens Against Government Waste from 2011 to 2015.
