Balthazar Masurel

Balthazar Masurel has been working in the marketing industry since 2002. Balthazar began their career as a Publishing Assistant at Hatier in 2002. In 2003, they moved to BIC as an Assistant Product Manager. Balthazar then joined BIC Graphic Europe in 2004, where they held the roles of Senior Product Manager Key Account, Product Manager Stationery, and Junior Product Manager Marketing Support. In 2008, they moved to Comercial Valira, S.A. as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for business analysis, commercial policy development, new product and brand development, and new categories and licenses. In 2011, they joined Johnson & Johnson Vision as Head of Business Development France, Benelux, Iberia, Key Account Manager France, Benelux, Iberia, Senior Marketing Manager - Global BMI, and Regional Brand Manager EMA. In 2019, they moved to Essilor as Director Mainstream Presbyopia and Myopia Control - Global Marketing and Associate Director Category and Emerging Brands - Global Marketing. Balthazar is currently the VP Strategic Marketing at SightGlass Vision, Inc. since 2022.

Balthazar Masurel attended Collège Stanislas Paris from 1989 to 1998, where they completed elementary, middle and high school. From 1998 to 1999, they completed their CPGE in Hypokhâgne BL at Collège Stanislas Paris. In 2000 and 2001, they studied History and social sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles. From 1999 to 2003, they obtained a Master in Marketing and Cultural business administration from Sciences Po. In 2010, they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from INSEAD.
