Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safety, quality, and effectively receiving, processing, dismantling, baling, and data destruction within the C&I warehouse. The Warehouse Associate will have a strong understanding of all assigned readings, can accurately implement and train processes and enforce process changes throughout warehouse for continuous improvement and overall efficiency. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process, sort, and dismantle customer orders. Safely manage and/or destroy data and materials delivered to warehouse.

  • Maintain data security, maximize material movement and operational productivity

  • Accurately and efficiently utilizes the company software in order to document customer transactions, equipment serializations, and other relevant information.

  • Implements problem-solving abilities and time-management skills in order to maximize productivity

  • Maintains knowledge of and adheres to all compliance obligations, relevant work instructions, policies, and procedures.

  • Follows environmental, health, and safety procedures and contingency plans to maintain a safe work environment

  • Actively participates in the identification and prompt reporting of possible hazards within all areas of the warehouse

  • Monitors and maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all personal workspaces, warehouse/dock areas, and company vehicles.

  • Communicates issues to the lead or supervisor as unforeseen situations arise.

  • Actively pursues goals in order to increase growth and personal development

  • Maintains a courteous, responsible, professional, and positive-teamwork attitude with customers and co-workers

  • Takes initiative and seeks out additional tasks to increase productivity

  • Completes assigned action items within timeframes given

  • Performs other duties as needed within the facility or other areas of C & I

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated work ethic and strong attention to detail
  • Prior forklift experience preferred

Physical/Travel Requirements:  

  • Ability to frequently life 50+ lbs

  • Some Travel Required to pick up equipment
