Michael Olley

Michael Olley has a diverse work experience starting from 1998. Michael began as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Dy4 Systems Inc. (now part of Curtiss Wright Controls). From there, they joined Motorola Mobility where they held several roles over the years, including Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, and Principal Staff Engineer. In 2013, they joined Tanvas as the Director of Electrical Engineering and stayed there until 2017. Michael then moved to Axon where they worked as the Director of CEW Engineering until 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Advanced Product Engineering at SigmaSense, a position they have held since March 2019.

Michael Olley attended Appleby College from 1989 to 1995. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Management Science from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Later on, from 2001 to 2003, Michael pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) at the University of Illinois Chicago.
