About the role - What’s your purpose?

Signal AI, the A.I.-powered platform for corporate reputation and risk intelligence, is hiring an Finance Associate to take ownership of the day-to-day functions of the finance team. In this pivotal role you will act as the Global Payables and EMEA Receivables functions, and aid the team with administrative duties. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities - What you will be doing:

• Billing and collections for EMEA customers, building the credit control process to decrease average days to collection
• Ownership of the global payables, including managing supplier relationships and updating our cash forecast upon payment
• Employee expenses processing and admin of our expenses system (SAP Concur)
• Review of commercial quotes for finance approval
• Updating NetSuite accounting software with details of sales orders
• Being the point of contact for Portuguese accounting (liaising with local contact there & admin like vendor management, etc)
• Month end accruals
• Assistance on group audit
• Ad-hoc Project work such as integrating our Fixed Asset register into our Netsuite accounting system, or automating repetitive processes
• General admin within the team such as managing the group inbox

Who are we looking for?

• Knowledge of accounting
• Basic knowledge of Portuguese compliance and filing requirements preferable
• You have strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Flexible and willingness to learn new tasks

Salary range: €18,000 - €20,000 gross per annum
