Marek Matusiak

Marek Matusiak has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Marek is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Siili Solutions since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at KONE from 2021 to 2022. Marek has also worked at Siili Solutions previously, holding various roles such as Head of Analytics, Data Scientist, and Tribal Lead from 2015 to 2021. Before joining Siili Solutions, they worked as an Analytics Consultant at Accenture from 2014 to 2015. Marek's career began at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering as a Doctoral Candidate from 2010 to 2014. Marek also worked as a Researcher at Helsinki University of Technology from 2005 to 2009, focusing on electronics, embedded systems, and hardware interfaces. Marek started their professional journey at Helsinki University of Technology as a Technical Assistant in 2002 and later served as a Research Assistant from 2004 to 2005.

Marek Matusiak obtained a Doctor of Science (Tech.) degree in Operations Research from Aalto University, where they studied from 2005 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Automation from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, which they completed from 1998 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2018.
