Shokoofeh Ghasemi

Shokoofeh Ghasemi is an accomplished R&D Scientist at Sika since June 2024, with extensive experience in polymer chemistry and coatings. Previously, Ghasemi served as a Graduate Research Assistant at NDSU Research & Technology Park from August 2019 to May 2024, focusing on developing and scaling an enhanced protective silicone-epoxy crosslinked coating for marine applications. Additionally, Ghasemi gained valuable experience as a Materials R&D Co-op at Applied Medical Technology, Inc., where technical problem-solving and formulation of water-based polyurethane coatings were key responsibilities. Teaching assistance at North Dakota State University strengthened skills in polymer formulation and characterization. Academic credentials include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from North Dakota State University, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Semnan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mazandaran.
