Joshua Williams has diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Joshua currently serves as an R&D Program Manager at Silfab Solar Inc., a position they began in November 2021. Previously, they worked at CCAM - Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing from 2017 to 2021. There, they held the role of Senior Research Engineer from January to August 2021, and prior to that, they worked as a Research Engineer. At CCAM, they primarily supported research and development efforts in surface engineering, focusing on metal and ceramic surface preparation, coatings, and in-situ process monitoring. Joshua also has experience as a Laboratory Research Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory from May 2008 to August 2009.
Joshua Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh from the years 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science from Arizona State University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2016.
