Bishwo Adhikari

Bishwo Adhikari has a diverse work experience. Bishwo is currently working as an AI Scientist at Silo AI since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University from January 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they conducted research on efficient object annotation methods on image datasets and implemented object detection on embedded devices. Bishwo was also involved in data collection, annotation, training deep learning networks, testing, and deployment on devices. Additionally, they served as a teaching assistant for graduate-level courses in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Advanced Signal Processing Laboratory.

Before their doctoral research, Bishwo worked at Tampere University of Technology. From July 2018 to December 2018, they worked as a Researcher, focusing on machine learning, deep learning, and object detection. From October 2017 to June 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant, where they gained skills in machine learning, deep learning theory, and Python programming with various libraries. Bishwo also served as a Teaching Assistant for a brief period from January 2018 to February 2018.

Bishwo's work experience also includes a role as a Project Manager at Demola Tampere from January 2017 to May 2017.

Bishwo Adhikari started their education journey in 2011 at Centria University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology. This program lasted until 2015.

Bishwo then furthered their studies at Tampere University of Technology from 2016 to 2018, obtaining a Master's degree in Data Engineering and Machine Learning.

Later, Bishwo Adhikari enrolled at Tampere University in 2019 to pursue a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Signal Processing and Machine Learning, which is expected to be completed in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Bishwo Adhikari obtained a certification in Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud from Coursera in January 2022.
