Matti Eskelinen

Matti Eskelinen has diverse work experience in the field of AI and research. Currently, they hold the position of Senior AI Scientist at Silo AI since May 2023 and previously worked as an AI Scientist from April 2021. Before joining Silo AI, Matti was a Postdoctoral Researcher and a PHD Student at the University of Jyväskylä from January 2020 to July 2020 and from January 2016 to December 2019, respectively. Matti also served as a Research Assistant at the same university from May 2015 to December 2015. Additionally, Matti gained experience as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2018. In their early career, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Jyväskylä from September 2013 to December 2014 and as a Research Trainee from June 2013 to July 2013.

Matti Eskelinen started their education at the University of Jyväskylä in 2007. Matti pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics and completed their studies in 2015. Later, from 2016 to 2020, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematical Information Theory.
