Muzammil Behzad, Ph.D.

Muzammil Behzad, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of AI and research. Muzammil is currently employed as an AI Scientist at Silo AI, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CFO of Cyberden Technologies starting in September 2012. Muzammil also worked as a Scientific Researcher at the University of Oulu starting in September 2018 and continuing until March 2022. Additionally, Muzammil has held roles as a Research Scholar at UCL from November 2021 to January 2022, a Research Scholar at Brown University in February to May 2019, a Research Associate at Pukyong National University from May to August 2018, and a Research Associate at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology from September 2013 to May 2018. Muzammil also worked as a Visiting Researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from January to August 2016. Muzammil began their research career as a Research and Project Intern at the Center for Advanced Studies in Telecommunication (CAST), COMSATS Institute of IT from June 2012 to June 2013, and as a Broadband Intern at PTCL from July to September 2011.

In 2018, Muzammil enrolled in the University of Oulu, where they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Deep Learning for 4D Faces in 2022. During their studies, they also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge by participating in a PhD Exchange Semester at Brown University in 2019, focusing on Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

In terms of machine learning and data science, they have completed courses such as "Machine Learning" and "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra" on Coursera.
