Sami Remes

Sami Remes started their work experience in 2011 at Aalto University as a Research Assistant. They later became a Doctoral Student, conducting research that led to publications at NIPS and ACML conferences. During this time, they also instructed several B. Sc. students. In 2017, Sami joined Silo AI as a Senior AI Scientist, where they were responsible for scoping, implementing, and delivering AI and software solutions for clients in various industries. Currently, Sami holds the position of Lead AI Scientist at Silo AI, with their start date being September 2022.

Sami Remes has a strong educational background in the field of technology and research. From 2009 to 2014, Sami attended Aalto University, where they obtained a Master of Science (Tech.) in Operations Research. Building upon this foundation, from 2014 to 2019, Sami further pursued their studies at Aalto University and completed a Doctor of Science (Tech.) degree, specializing in Machine Learning.
