Santosh Hiremath

Santosh Hiremath has a strong background in artificial intelligence and robotics. Santosh is currently working as an AI Scientist at Silo AI since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Feature Owner at Sensible 4 from June 2022. Santosh also had previous experience as an AI Scientist at Silo AI from August 2021 to July 2022. Santosh worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from November 2018 to July 2021. Before that, Santosh was a Research Scientist at Trakomatic Pte Ltd from August 2015 to April 2016. Santosh holds a PhD in Robotics from Wageningen UR, where they worked from January 2009 to October 2013. Santosh started their educational journey with a Masters in Artificial Intelligence - Intelligent Robotics from The University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2008. Santosh began their professional career as a System Analyst at Sonata Software from June 2004 to June 2007.

Santosh Hiremath obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, graduating in the year 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Edinburgh, which they completed between 2007 and 2008. Seeking further educational attainment, Hiremath enrolled in Wageningen University & Research, where they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Robotics, completing their studies in the period from 2009 to 2013.
