Chris Hannifin, MBA, CISSP

Chris Hannifin, MBA, CISSP has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Chris started their career at USAA as an IT Project Manager, where they successfully implemented multi-million-dollar projects and obtained Project Management certification. Chris then joined EY as a Cyber Intelligence Manager, where they supported Fortune 500 companies in identifying emerging threats to their IT infrastructure. At EY, they were responsible for team reorganization and process development, achieving a high utilization rate for the Cyber Threat Intelligence Operations team.

After EY, Chris worked at RSM US LLP as a Cybersecurity, Privacy, & Risk Manager III. In this role, they led a team in delivering automated financial controls across hybrid environments and developed vendor management solutions for high-risk clients. Chris also briefed C-Suite executives and managed key stakeholders during and after project engagements.

Chris also has experience in the military, specifically with the US Air Force Reserve, where they served as the Training & Standards Evaluation Division Chief for the Network Operations Center for 20 years. Currently, they are the Chief Information Technology Officer at Silotech Group, Inc. Chris'sresponsibilities in this role include designing and implementing business process automation, managing enterprise licensing budgets, and focusing on innovation solutions to reduce costs. Before becoming CITO, they served as the Director of Managed IT & Security Services at Silotech Group, where they achieved profitability in the first year through effective management of budgets and career progression for the Technology and Innovation line of business.

Chris Hannifin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, Chris has obtained several certifications, including EC-Council's Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), GSEC from GIAC Certifications, CISSP from (ISC)², Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, and Certified Project Manager from USAA. The obtained dates for the certifications include November 2022 for EC-Council's Certified Chief Information Security Officer, April 2022 for Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), May 2017 for GSEC, September 2018 for CISSP, and June 2020 for Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
