Tom Denny

Tom Denny has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tom started their career in 1993 at Captaris as the Director of Software Architecture and stayed with the company until 2009. In 2002, they became a Principal at WoodturnerPro and held this position until 2012. Later, they joined uc2i, LLC as a partner from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Transpo Group as a Software Engineering Executive for a year. Finally, in 2015, they became the Director of Software Engineering at Silvaris Corporation, where they are currently employed.

Tom Denny has a diverse education history. In 1988, they attended Lake Oswego High without pursuing any specific field of study. In 1989, they enrolled at Oregon State University and studied Computer Science for four years, completing their education in 1993. Tom also briefly attended Portland State University in the same year, focusing on Computer Science. In 1998, Tom furthered their education at the University of Phoenix, where they studied Business Management until 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Tom Denny obtained several certifications in the field. In July 2006, they attained the MCPD: Windows Developer certification from Microsoft. In June 2007, they achieved the MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer certification, followed by the MCPD: Web Developer certification in December of the same year, all from Microsoft.
