Angélica Custódio

Angélica Custódio has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Angélica is currently working as a Data Scientist Specialist at Pier Seguradora since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Science Teaching Assistant at Insper from April 2021 onwards. Before that, they worked as a Data Analyst at Loggi from February 2022 to October 2022. Angélica also has experience as a Data Scientist at Recovery from May 2020 to January 2022. Angélica has a background in credit analysis as well, having worked as a Credit Analyst at C6 Bank from October 2018 to April 2020. Angélica began their career as a Statistical Modeling Analyst at Boa Vista SCPC in January 2016, where they developed statistical models for credit, collection, claims, and propensity to activate products, and provided service and technical support to the commercial area, products, and customers. Angélica started their professional journey as an intern at Statsol Soluções Estatísticas e Pesquisa de Mercado from July 2015 to December 2015. Angélica's early experience includes their role as a scholarship recipient at the Tutorial Education Program of Statistics from January 2012 to July 2015.

Angélica Custódio completed their Bachelor's degree in Statistics from UFSCar - Alumni, specializing in Probability and Statistics, from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, they obtained a certification in "Introduction to SAS SQL" from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP. Angélica also presented a paper titled "Relationship between Neural Networks and Time Series" at the Semana da Estatística da UFSCAR in 2012.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Angélica pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Data Processing and Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Federal do ABC. Angélica attended the university from 2018 to 2021.

Additionally, in 2020, Angélica completed a summer internship in Computer Science at the University of Bradford. During their education journey, they focused on Probability and Statistics as well as Data Processing and Artificial Intelligence.
