Digital Analytics & Product Analytics Lead at Pier

Augusto Carvalho started their work experience as an Auxiliar Administrativo at LUH-A Administração de Imóveis S/C Ltda in 2002. Augusto then worked as a Front Desk employee at Itatiba Orion Hotel Ltda ME in 2009. In 2010, they joined CMNet Soluções em Informática e Agência de Viagens e Turismo SA as an Analista de sistemas, where they implemented, set up, and trained clients on hotel management software. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Data Analyst at Wunderman, focusing on digital media buying, selling, analytics, and optimization for clients such as Microsoft, Vivo, and TAM. In the same period, they also worked as a Data Analyst at dp6, where they provided strategic planning, optimization, and consulting for e-commerce websites.

In 2017, Augusto Carvalho became a Digital Analytics Tech Lead at Telefônica Brasil, leading a team of 50 individuals in data collection and analysis for apps and web environments. Augusto then joined XP Inc. in 2019 as a Digital Analytics Tech Lead, where they led a small team to ensure data cohesion and support over 50 squads, as well as the CRM and Growth teams. Currently, Augusto Carvalho is working at Pier as the Digital Analytics & Product Analytics Lead, responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, and analysis of data for both digital and product analytics.

Augusto Carvalho obtained a degree in Tecnologo em Hotelaria from Universidade São Francisco, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Augusto pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Intelligence at FIAP from 2016 to 2017. Augusto Carvalho also acquired several certifications including Advertising Fundamentals, Advanced Display, Advanced Search, and Google Analytics QI from Google, with the Google Analytics QI certification being obtained in December 2012 and the others in January and February 2014.
