Amy Childs has extensive experience in various roles within the automotive and retail industries. Amy started their career at Target in 1998, where they worked as an Executive Team Leader for eight years before becoming a Store Manager. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills, maximizing team performance and creating exceptional customer experiences.
In 2014, Amy joined DriveTime as an Assistant Director of Recruiting and later became a General Manager. Amy was responsible for attracting top talent and ensuring a clear career path for employees within the organization. Amy then moved on to SilverRock Inc. in 2016, where they held progressively senior roles in operations. Amy contributed to building a unique company that provided straightforward and cost-effective auto insurance and service contracts.
From 2017 to 2019, Amy went back to DriveTime as a Director of Customer Advocacy, where they focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Finally, Amy returned to SilverRock Inc. in 2020 as the Managing Director of Operations. Throughout their career, Amy has consistently demonstrated their expertise in operations management, team leadership, and customer advocacy.
Amy Childs completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2009. Amy then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university from 2009 to 2011.
