Vishal Katba

Vishal Katba has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Vishal is currently working as a Principal Engineer at SiMa.ai since June 2023. Before that, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Senior Technical Manager from June 2017 to June 2023. Prior to Intel, they served as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from July 2012 to June 2017. Vishal also worked as a Technical Lead at ST Ericsson from November 2010 to June 2012. Before that, they held the position of Senior Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor from February 2008 to November 2010. Vishal began their career at HCL Technologies as a Member Technical Staff from December 2006 to February 2008.

Vishal Katba completed their education in a chronological order. In 2002, they enrolled at Saurashtra University in Rajkot, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Vishal successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2006.

Later in 2006, Vishal attended Vedant, where they obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in VLSI Design.

In addition to their formal education, Vishal also earned two additional certifications. In February 2021, they completed a certification course in Machine Learning from Stanford University. Furthermore, in September 2021, Vishal obtained a User Paper certification from Synopsys after participating in SNUG South Asia 2021.
