Juan Pablo Boccardi

Juan Pablo Boccardi has a diverse range of work experience in the fintech and banking industry. Juan Pablo is currently working at Simetrik as the Global Head of Payments and Fintech Industry, where they lead and oversees the Industry Advisory department, providing strategic guidance to clients in the fintech, banking, and payments sector. Juan Pablo also worked as the Director of Global Payments and Partnerships at Simetrik, where they structured and developed the Payment Method Orchestrator. Juan Pablo is also involved in the Fintech On The Rocks podcast as a co-founder and host. Their other roles include being a member of the Payment Media Committee at ChilePay and a professor of Fintech at Universidad del CEMA. In the past, Juan Pablo held positions such as Head of Payments at Banco Supervielle and Head of Digital Products & Payments at Banco Ciudad. Juan Pablo has extensive experience in managing payments initiatives, developing digital strategies, and implementing digital transformation projects. Juan Pablo also had a brief role as a Product Manager at IBM.

Juan Pablo Boccardi has a diverse education history in the fields of management, finance, law, and product design. Juan Pablo earned a Senior Management Program (PDD) certificate from IAE Business School in 2019 and is currently a PhD candidate in Management at Universidad del CEMA, starting in 2020 and expected to complete in 2025. In 2016, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Prior to that, they completed a Master in Finance at Universidad del CEMA from 2014 to 2015. In 2004, Juan Pablo Boccardi became a Lawyer after completing their degree at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in law. Juan Pablo has also obtained various certifications, including a Senior Product Manager Certification from Product School in 2022 and a Product Leader Certification from the same institution in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as change management, international leadership, growth strategy design, fintech fundamentals, blockchain technology, and digital transformation leadership. Boccardi has also completed courses in SQL joining, SQL introduction, and Agile Meets Design Thinking through DataCamp and Coursera.
