Florian Tolk's work experience began in 2012 as an intern at Old Dominion University: VMASC. In 2013, they worked as an intern at SimIS Inc., where they designed a 3D physics simulation for testing a brown water boat. Florian also collected information using a real-world model to increase the level of realism in the simulation and presented it at the end of their internship.

In 2014, Florian was hired as a programmer at SimIS Inc., where they designed a game-based pharmacy simulation to train new pharmacists in using the information system and interacting with customers. Florian provided weekly updates to the customer about the program's development.

Florian joined Delhaize America in 2015 as a Front End Supervisor until May 2017.

Since 2017, Florian has been working as a Software Engineer - SETA Contractor at the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative.

Throughout their career, Florian has gained experience in software engineering, programming, designing simulations, and supervisory roles.

Florian Tolk completed their high school education at Grassfield High School between the years 2010 and 2014. Florian received their high school diploma and studied for their GED during this period. After graduating from high school, Florian attended Tidewater Community College from the years 2014 to 2016. Florian earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science during their time there. Florian has also obtained the IC3 certification from the Internet and Computer Core Certification institution, although the specific month and year of this achievement are not provided.
