Prashanth Selvam

Prashanth Selvam currently serves as the Senior Client Solutions Manager at Simon Data. Prior to this, they spent five years at Kantar Consulting, where they served as the Director of Category Analytics & Advisory. In this role, they led a team of analysts who supported Category Management teams from leading CPG companies in making data-driven decisions. The team focused primarily on analytics-based consulting, leveraging RichMix - a proprietary SaaS product which uses regression models to help make product assortment decisions.

Selvam also spent two years in Dubai, helping build Kantar Consulting's analytics capabilities in the region from the ground up, as well as serving on various consulting initiatives with clients in the areas of organizational capability, category management, and route-to-market strategy.

Highlights during Selvam's time at Kantar Consulting include leading an analytics pilot program with a global CPG leader that resulted in one of the highest value contracts for the team, training himself in VBA to develop a portfolio of advanced Excel tools that created new revenue streams for the company, and building a long-term strategic framework for the food service operations of a global dairy company.

Prashanth Selvam has a BA in International Relations and Economics from Connecticut College and has completed certification programs in data analyst and intro to programming nanodegrees from Udacity.
