Deepanshu Bansal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Deepanshu is currently working as the Director of Business for Simplilearn, where they are focused on exploring alternate revenue generation channels and reducing CAC. Deepanshu has opened the company's first retail center and is developing it as a POC, while also experimenting with channel partner tie-ups, college outreach programs, and BTL activities.

Prior to their current role, Deepanshu served as the Sales Head for upGrad Jeet, where they played a pivotal role in building the organization from the ground up. Deepanshu was responsible for achieving targets, hiring and building teams, setting up automated inside-sales processes, improving sales efficiency, and strategizing the GTM for new products.

Before that, they worked at Zomato, first as the State Operations Head for Hyderabad and AP/TS, where they focused on ensuring rider availability, optimizing delivery costs, and enhancing customer experience. Deepanshu managed a fleet of 18,000+ delivery partners and successfully reduced delivery costs by 40%. Later, they served as the City Logistics Head for Hyderabad, where their responsibilities included onboarding new delivery partners, minimizing churn, and solving for correct DP behavior.

Deepanshu also held leadership positions at THE GATE ACADEMY PVT. LTD, where they served as the Vice President of Sales and contributed to the company's revenue growth of more than 120% and profitability. Deepanshu also successfully turned around a loss-making center in Pune and exceeded targets through various college activations and targeted campaigns.

Prior to their corporate career, Deepanshu worked as a Managing Partner at Narain Udhyog, where they were responsible for growing and expanding the business. Deepanshu managed all aspects of the business, including sales, procurement, operations, project expansions, and finance. Under their leadership, the top line of the business grew substantially.

Deepanshu Bansal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, Marketing from JBIMS from 2009 to 2011.
