Gelareh Alam

Gelareh Alam has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Pharmacist role at Kakhal Pharmacy in 2007. In 2009, they took on a Medical Representative role at Shafayab. In 2011, they earned their Ph.D in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). Most recently, they have been a Visiting Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University since 2019 and currently holds the role of Scientific Director and Associate Scientific Director at SIMPSON Healthcare.

Gelareh Alam received a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Azad University of Tehran, School of Pharmacy between 2001 and 2009. Gelareh then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University between 2011 and 2015.
