Claire Birch

Claire Birch has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as the Head of Human Resources at SingularityDAO Labs, where they are responsible for driving the company's culture, ensuring the wellbeing of the workforce, and attracting new talent. Claire leads the HR department processes and implements people management strategies. Claire also champions an inclusive culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) throughout the organization.

Prior to joining SingularityDAO Labs, Claire worked as a Recruiter for Corporate Functions & Emerging Markets at Amazon from February 2022 to March 2023.

Before their tenure at Amazon, Claire founded and served as the Managing Director of DIRECT Teacher Recruitment Specialists from October 2014 to May 2022. In this role, they established and managed the company, focusing on recruiting teachers for various positions.

Earlier in their career, Claire held the position of Recruitment Manager at Uteach Recruitment Ltd. Claire joined the company in August 2006 and was responsible for setting up the Irish branch of the organization. Claire coordinated the recruitment of teachers from Ireland for positions in the UK and international schools across the globe.

Claire also has experience in the education field, having worked as a Teacher and Head of Department for Art & Design at Kingsford Community School from September 2003 to August 2006. During their tenure, they achieved outstanding results for the Art department in the school's first-ever GCSE exams.

Claire Birch completed their Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture at Munster Technological University from 1996 to 2000. Claire further pursued their education at the University of Wolverhampton from 2001 to 2002, completing the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) in Art & Design for Secondary Teacher Training. Additionally, Claire holds certifications in Data Analytics from Google and in the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) in Art & Design from the General Teaching Council for England.
