Wanchen Liu

Wanchen Liu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they serve as a Key Account Manager at Sino Biological, Inc. since March 2021. Prior to this, from November 2018 to March 2021, they held the position of VP of Products at ACXEL TECH LTD. Before that, Wanchen worked as a Strategic Partner Development Associate at Amicoat from May 2017 to October 2019. In 2014, they had multiple roles such as Marketing Director at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs, Team leader at CSSA-UK High-Level Entrepreneurship Challenge, and Group Member at The Biotechnology Young Entrepreneurs Scheme. Additionally, they served as a Team leader at the International Talent Technology Entrepreneur Challenge in 2014. From 2012 to 2014, Wanchen held the position of Public Relations at CSSA-CAM (Chinese Students and Scholars Association). They also gained experience as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Cambridge in 2013. During their earlier career, they worked as a Project leader and Researcher at Crop Research Institute, Sichuan Academy Of Agricultural Science from 2008 to 2010.

Wanchen Liu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology at Sichuan University between 2005 and 2009. They then pursued a Master's Degree in Molecular Plant Biology and Biotechnology at Imperial College London from 2010 to 2011. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge and worked towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry, which they pursued between 2012 and 2015.
