Yves Steffen

Yves Steffen has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Yves is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at SiO2 Materials Science since August 2022. Previously, they worked as the General Manager Europe and Head of Commercial Development at the same company from March 2022 to August 2022. Yves also served as an Advisory Board member at obvioTec AG from November 2021.

Prior to that, they were a Partner at Kapman Switzerland GmbH from February 2019 to August 2022. Yves also held the position of Global Director of Sustainability at SHL Medical AG from March 2021 to March 2022. Yves worked at Novartis from 2016 to 2021, where they held the role of Head Packaging & Device Commercialization BTDM.

Before joining Novartis, Yves worked at Sandoz, where they served as the Head of Packaging and Device Operations from June 2015 to April 2016, and as a Drug Product Manager from January 2012 to June 2015. Yves started their career at Novartis Pharma AG as a Plant Engineer from October 2006 to August 2010 and later as a Transfer Manager from July 2010 to January 2012.

Yves began their professional journey as a Project Manager in Pharmaceutical Production at Johnson & Johnson from March 2004 to October 2006.

Yves Steffen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Process Engineering from FHBB, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
