Tatiana Velastegui

Tatiana Velastegui has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Tatiana is currently serving as the Director of Finance & Accounting at Siprocal, where they oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in financial compliance. Tatiana also gained experience as a Financial Compliance Manager at Cortex Media, where they managed client engagements and led financial audits. Additionally, they held various roles at Brightstar Corp., including Manager of Internal Audit, Sr. Internal Auditor, Procure to Pay Internal Auditor, Financial Statement Administrator, Controller Manager, and Internal Audit Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for conducting internal audit projects, managing internal audit issues, and handling financial statements and reporting.

Tatiana Velastegui obtained a Certificate in International Accounting Standards Board and NIIF from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2010-2011. Tatiana also earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on International Business from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in 1993-1999. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as Corporate Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Modeling and Forecasting Financial Statements, Project Management Foundations, and Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Financial Ratios from LinkedIn in 2020.
