Nilay Uygun

Nilay Uygun, MBA, has a strong background in program management, transformation, and project management. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Program Management Office at Şişecam, where they have been since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the PMO Manager (Transformation) at Şişecam from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining Şişecam, Nilay worked at Vodafone as a Senior Manager, Transformation from 2019 to 2020, and as a PMO Senior Manager, Transformation from 2016 to 2019. Nilay also gained experience at HSBC as a Manager, Change Delivery from 2013 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Nilay worked for Turkcell Global Bilgi as a Unit Head, Process and Project Management from 2012 to 2013, and as a Senior Project Manager, Business Development and New Operations from 2008 to 2012. Nilay was also a Tutor at Turkcell Akademi from 2010 to 2013.

Additionally, Nilay has experience in project management and senior consultancy roles. Nilay worked for Tectura as a Project Manager and Senior Implementation Consultant from 2006 to 2008, and for Opera Technologies as a Senior Consultant, ERP Solutions from 2003 to 2006. Nilay began their career as a Junior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche, where they worked on an Oracle ERP implementation project.

Nilay Uygun started their professional journey as an intern at Kibar Holding in 2000.

Nilay Uygun, MBA has a diverse education history. In 1998-2002, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Yıldız Technical University. In 2011-2012, they pursued a Masters degree in Executive MBA at Sabanci University. Additionally, in 2012, they attended the Leadership & Innovation Program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Nilay Uygun also holds several additional certifications including being a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist obtained in September 2018 and a PMP (Project Management Professional).
