Hossam Elmoshrify

Hossam Elmoshrify has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hossam began their career at Cairo International Airport as a Team Lead for SITA. Hossam then moved on to work for Aviation Information Technology (AVIT) as a Telecom Service Manager and later as an IT Project Manager. During their time at AVIT, they played a key role in the development of the company's incentive performance plan and increased profits by managing the telecommunications department.

After their tenure at AVIT, Hossam joined ITplusARAB as the Founder and CEO. Hossam led the company for 10 years before transitioning to Salam Technology as a Service Manager and later as a Project Manager. At Salam Technology, Hossam focused on delivering IT service management solutions, managing service contracts, and improving customer satisfaction.

In 2018, Hossam joined SITA as the Manager of Customer Success Management for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Hossam served as a Security Officer and Single Point of Contact for governance and security activities related to the National Cyber Security Center in KSA. In addition, Hossam managed teams responsible for infrastructure and network security for Jeddah Airport's data network.

Recently, Hossam took on the role of Head of Airports Operations at SITA, where they oversee operations in 28 airports in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait with a team of over 100 members.

Outside of their professional career, Hossam is also involved in the Cloud Security Alliance, serving as the President of the CSA Egypt Chapter. Hossam is passionate about improving security and cloud awareness in the local community and building a strong network among companies in Egypt.

Hossam Elmoshrify completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Master Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications Management & Wireless Networks from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, from 2004 to 2007. Hossam also holds a B.Sc. in Telecommunications & Electronics Engineering from Alexandria University, completed from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as digital business transformation, information systems security, lean six sigma, and project management.
