Umair Tahseen

Umair Tahseen is an experienced professional in power plant operations and project management, currently serving as the Sr. Assistant Manager Operations at Sitara Chemical Industries Limited since May 2018. Previously held roles include Assistant Manager Operations and Sr. Engineer Operations, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining operational quality, managing plant start-ups and shutdowns, and optimizing performance according to Standard Operating Procedures. Prior to Sitara Chemical, Umair worked at Albario Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. as a Shift Incharge and Control Room Operator in Combine Cycle Power Plants, overseeing various equipment and handling emergency situations. Umair holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and has a solid educational foundation in pre-engineering and science.
