Chelsea Hower

Chelsea Hower is the Director of Trust & Safety at Sittercity. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Hospital Care Assistant and Veterinary Assistant.

Chelsea has always been an animal lover and knew they wanted to work with them in some capacity. Chelsea started working at Westgate Pet Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant in 2012. There, they were responsible for checking in clients, assisting doctors with examinations, taking vitals for pets, administering vaccines, processing lab work, and taking x-rays. In 2015, they left Westgate to work as a Hospital Care Assistant at MY VET ANIMAL HOSPITAL LLC. There, their duties included answering phones, scheduling appointments, cleaning the lobby and exam rooms, overseeing social media, and placing the food order each week.

In their current role as Director of Trust & Safety at Sittercity, Chelsea is responsible for ensuring that the platform is safe for both sitters and families. Chelsea loves their job and feels grateful to be able to work with animals every day.

Chelsea Hower completed their undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Grand Valley State University. Chelsea is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Michigan.

Their manager is Zenobia Moochhala, CEO. Chelsea Hower works with Ewa Chang - Director of Consumer Product, Rishi Bhalerao - SVP, Operations, and Sarah Nunes - Chief Marketing Officer.
