Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the Content and Growth Teams to deliver fully integrated strategies and identify opportunities to expand the scope of existing projects.

  • Undertake prioritised, in-depth technical audits for new/existing clients to unlock growth opportunities and mitigate blockers

  • Developing scalable internal linking solutions for clients.

  • Providing detailed technical guidance to our clients engineering teams.

  • Supporting with internationalisation projects, ensuring hreflang setups and crawler settings are optimal.

  • Owning complex website migrations, providing pre, during and post-migration documents for our clients’ development teams. This can range from CMS migrations to complex multi-site merges.

  • Building, maintaining and routinely upgrading our client dashboards in Looker. Leverage data and APIs to create clear, actionable reports.

  • Supporting the sales team by providing detailed technical insights during the pitching phase.

  • Working with the Head of SEO to create new deliverables, automate processes and find new ways to deliver impact for our clients.

About you:

  • You’re based in EMEA

  • You are extremely comfortable importing and manipulating data in tools such as Looker Studio and Google Sheets.

  • You are proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • You have experience working with a variety of CMS systems

  • You’ve spent 3-5 years working in an agency role within the Technical SEO vertical.

  • You ‘get’ SEO and understand how Tech SEO feeds into the wider picture

  • You’re comfortable working with Log File Data, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and other SEO tools.

  • You understand how to prioritise your recommendations based on impact vs resources required.

  • You will need to be registered as a freelancer in your country of tax residence. E.g. Sole Trader in the UK or Autónomo if you're in Spain

Bonus points if...

  • You have CRO experience and understand the difference between statistical significance and a fluke.
  • You have a working knowledge of SQL/Python
  • You are (or have previously been) in a leadership position that has involved mentoring team members.
