Heather Barbarino has extensive work experience in various roles related to growth marketing, strategy, and business development. Heather'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Growth at SKC, where they served as an ingredient expert and consultant, assisting customers in formulating nutritious and guilt-free food. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Growth Marketing at Manus Bio, leading the brand transformation of NutraSweet and developing commercial growth strategies. Heather also held the role of Sr. Executive of Global Marketing, Innovation, and Strategy at TIC Gums. Earlier in their career, they were the Division Director of Global Development, Food & Beverage, Plastics Division at Sonoco, the Global Director of Business Development, Marketing, and Product Innovation at AptarGroup, Inc., and the VP of Marketing, Sales, and Product Development at Kustom Beverage Company, LLC. Heather began their career at KPMG US, where they held various roles including National Marketing and Client Services Development Director for the Global CPG division and National Director of Business Development. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in driving growth through strategic marketing and business development initiatives in the CPG and food and beverage industries.
Heather Barbarino holds a BS degree in Corporate Management with an International concentration from Pennsylvania State University. In 1992, they obtained a certification as an Associate Member from Omicron Delta Kappa.

Paul Ammeen founded SKC in 1986 as a headset distributor. Paul always said “treat your customers, vendors, and employees like gold”, and that is still core to what we do. His wife, Sondra, joined the business in 1988 and soon after each of their five children came onboard. Paul and Sondra sold the business to their children in 2002, and two of the five siblings are still active in the day-to-day operations. Headquartered in Kansas City, today SKC employs 310 employees in 21 states nationwide with regional offices in the following locations:
