Michael Petersen

Principal Architect at Skedulo

Michael Petersen has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and development. Michael started their career in 1999 as a Progress/Java Developer at Palmer Tube Mills Pty Ltd. Michael then worked as a Java/XML Developer at Vizzavi Europe in 2001, followed by a role as a Developer at Centrica Telecommunications in 2002. Michael joined Melbourne IT in 2003 as a DETA Development Team Leader and later moved to Mayne Pharmaceuticals as a Java Developer on a contract basis. In 2007, they became a Development Manager at i2 Ltd. Following this, they worked at Transaction Network Services in various roles including Development Team Lead, Software Architect, and Senior Architect. Michael then joined MasterCard in 2014 as a Senior Architect and later worked at Console Group as a Solutions Architect. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Architect at Skedulo since 2020.

Michael Petersen attended The University of Queensland from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng Hons IIA). Michael later pursued further education at Kaplan Professional from 2006 to 2009, completing a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance in the field of Finance.
