Jose Luis Hidalgo Valiño has a long history of work experience. Jose Luis began in 2004 as a CG Programmer and Researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. In 2009, they took on the role of Technical Director at the University Institute of Control Systems and Industrial Computing, as well as a Full Time Professor of Advanced Programming (Real-Time Rendering Engines) at ESAT. Jose Luis also served as CTO and Co-founder of we use powerups from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, they were a Senior Computer Graphics Engineer at Mybrana, and in 2018 they took on the role of Software Development Engineer at the United Nations Global Service Centre (Trigyn consultant). Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Rendering Engineer at both Epic Games and Sketchfab.

Jose Luis Hidalgo Valiño completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2005. Jose Luis then completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Computer Graphics, AI, and Pattern Recognition from UPV in 2007. In 2008, they earned a Master in Computer Science, AI, Pattern Recognition, and Computer Graphics from UPV.
