Marianne Seidler

Marianne Seidler has extensive work experience as an instructional designer, with a strong focus on developing e-learning modules and instructional learning experiences. Marianne has worked for various companies, including Skill-Up Technologies, PMG Learning Solutions, Launch Consulting Group, MediaPRO: Cybersecurity & Privacy Education, AT&T, and The Boeing Company. In these roles, Marianne has designed and developed instructional courses, analyzed project objectives, and collaborated with subject matter experts. Marianne has also managed projects, ensured instructional integrity, and converted courseware to new learning modalities. Prior to their instructional design career, Marianne worked as a marketing and communications specialist/program manager at Hewlett-Packard Company, where they managed online programs, employee communications, market research, and sales communications activities. Overall, Marianne has extensive experience in instructional design and has achieved results in various areas, including awareness, learning, sales goals, and satisfaction.

Marianne Seidler has a diverse education history. Marianne holds a Master's in Management (MM) with a focus on competitive strategy, marketing, and finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Cornell University, earning an AB degree in English and history. Additionally, Marianne has pursued studies at the University of Denver, specializing in the field of publishing.

In terms of certifications, Marianne has completed numerous courses to enhance their skills and knowledge. Most recently, they obtained certifications in Learning Design Consulting and Setting Up and Managing Your Course from Coursera in April 2022. Marianne also completed courses in Creating a Guided Project for Coursera Project Network and Introduction to Agile Development and Scrum in October 2021. Earlier certifications include Coursera Learning Design Fundamentals and Technical Assessment Basics in March 2021. Marianne also acquired expertise in online course creation through StudioX: Creating a Course with edX Studio in October 2020 and edX101: Overview of Creating an edX Course in July 2020, both from edX.
