May ElHattab began their work experience in 2009 as an Account Specialist at Commercial International Bank. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at BeneTrac, initially as a Renewal and Retention Specialist and later as a Client Representative. In 2015, they started working at Lytx, Inc. where they held various roles including Client Account Manager, Senior Client Solutions Consultant, Team Lead of Client Solutions Consulting, and Manager of Enterprise Client Success. In August 2021, they joined Skilljar as the Director of Customer Success.

May ElHattab obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Accounting from The German University in Cairo, from 2004 to 2008. In 2020, they also received a Leadership Principles Certification from Harvard Business School Online.
