Rashad Itani

Rashad Itani has worked in the tech industry since 1996. Rashad began as a Software Engineer Intern at Space Systems LORAL and then Apple Computer, Inc. and Cisco Systems. In 1998, they became a Software Engineer at Ariba, Inc., and in 2008, they moved to Ubiquiti Networks as a Software Engineer. In 2009, they joined ShoreTel as a Sr. Software Engineer, and then in 2012, they became a Software Engineering Manager and Sr. Software Engineer at SugarCRM. In 2015, they joined PLAE (plae.co) as a Chief Software Architect and Technical Architect. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Co-Founder & VP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer at Skipify. Throughout their career, they have worked on data integration, analytics, visualization, front-end design and development, and server systems. Rashad has also managed a small internal dev team, two external dev teams, and all technical external vendors.

Rashad Itani obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1995 and 1999.
