Tony Tran

Tony Tran is a Senior Software Engineer at SKUTOPIA since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at FMG Suite from October 2018 to March 2022. At FMG Suite, they held two roles - Fuse Product Team Lead and Integrations Team Lead. As the Fuse Product Team Lead, they were responsible for modernizing a system running on Nodejs and Rethinkdb to .Net Core and SQL. Tony successfully migrated a sub-product from the legacy database Rethinkdb to MSSQL and refactored the legacy Nodejs codebase. As the Integrations Team Lead, they developed a highly scalable and cloud-based CRM Integrations system and recruited team members for the new team. Tony worked at Agency Revolution as a Software Engineer from March 2016 to October 2018. Tony contributed to the development of Connect, an Automation Marketing Platform for Insurance Agencies. Before that, they worked as a PHP Developer at Lazada from August 2015 to February 2016 and as a Full-stack Web Developer at Cogini from June 2014 to August 2015. At Cogini, they developed web applications using various languages and frameworks and worked as both a backend and frontend developer. Tony also had a role as a Lead Editor at RMIT Vietnam IT Club from March 2013 to June 2014.

Tony Tran attended Lê Quý Đôn High School from 2007 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Higher Diploma of Software Engineering at Aprotrain Aptech from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they enrolled at RMIT University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2014. During their time at RMIT, they also received a Certification of Contribution from RMIT Vietnam IT Club in May 2013.
