Rubén Sierra Poyatos

Rubén Sierra Poyatos has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Rubén is currently employed at Skydweller Aero as a Model-Based Systems Engineer since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Rolls-Royce as a Systems Design & Integration Engineer from 2017 to 2021, where they were represented by ALTEN Ltd. Before joining Rolls-Royce, Rubén worked at Altran from 2015 to 2017. At Altran, they served as an A320 & A350 - ATA 49 APU System Engineer - EPVE from 2016 to 2017, and as an Intern Aircraft Systems Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Rubén also gained valuable experience through an internship at Liebherr Aerospace in 2014, where they were involved in the development of electromechanical actuators for flight control systems. During their internship, Rubén developed and implemented a simulation model in MATLAB to design and optimize the Drive-System for an Aircraft Electromechanical Actuation System.

Rubén Sierra Poyatos pursued a Master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, and Astronautical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain. Rubén completed this educational program from 2008 to 2014.
