Alison Kirkland has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alison currently works at Skyline Enterprises as the Head Organizational Development. Prior to that, they held the position of People & Capability Manager - Projects at the same company. Alison also worked at Skyline Enterprises/Skyline Rotorua as the People & Capability Manager and later as the Manager Human Resources & Quality. During their time there, they were responsible for implementing a LEAN continuous improvement system, resulting in improved staff engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Before joining Skyline Enterprises, Alison worked as the Quality & HR Manager at Naturo Pharm, where they were in charge of ensuring quality objectives and ISO certification requirements were met while also managing the HR function. Alison also gained experience as the HR Manager at Tachikawa Forest Products Ltd, where they successfully developed a cooperative union relationship. Alison started their career as an HR Consultant at Lakes District Health Board and then gained international experience as an HR Manager at Shurlok International Ltd in South Africa, where they oversaw HR activities and implemented a government-initiated continuous improvement project. Alison began their professional journey as an HR Officer at Accenture AI.
Alison Kirkland obtained a Bachelor of Applied Management in Business Excellence from Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga in 2019. Prior to this, they attended Croydon College where they pursued a Diploma in Personnel & Development (CIPD UK) with a focus on Business and HR.
