Mariela Muñoz

Mariela Muñoz has over 20 years of work experience. Mariela started their career in 1995 as a Software Developer at SOFTEL, where they programmed several modules of SELSOFT, a recruiting system based on Psychological tests, using Visual Basic and Access. In 1998, they moved to Prodent as a Software Developer, where they developed a desktop application for Dental Clinics (Odonto) to manage appointments and medical history using Visual Basic, Crystal Report and Access Database. Mariela also designed and implemented the company website (PHP, MySQL). In 2001, they joined desoft as a Senior Software Developer, where they optimized Stores Procedures, Triggers and Views for different applications in order to reduce the response time and improve their performance. Mariela also resolved technical operational issues for the SELSOFT and PSISOFT, and implemented a solution to the National Health Register using PHP, XSLT, MySQL. In 2004, they worked at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cuba as a Management Assistant, Economic Counsellor, and Consular Assistant, where they organized Fairs and business events, organized Agendas for the diplomatic staff of the Embassy, and was responsible for the building up and maintaining of a network of appropriate contacts. In 2015, they moved to In Touch Travel Services LLC as a Sales and Customer Services Manager, where they added new customers while maintaining high standard service levels with existing clients, addressed phone and mail inquiries and resolved service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, and scheduled trips and prepared travel itineraries and budgets for clients. Mariela also worked at Gallardo Digital Marketing as an SEO and Social Media Specialist. In 2018, they joined SkyPlanner as a Salesforce Project Manager and Business Analyst, where they monitored and managed project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure projects stay on track, managed interaction with Business stakeholders, conducted key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training, and created Project Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document and user stories.

Mariela Muñoz obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría" in 1995. Mariela also holds certifications from Salesforce, including Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant (obtained in September 2022), Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) (obtained in February 2022), and Pardot Specialist Certification (obtained in October 2018).
