Laura Plato

Laura Plato is the current Chief Operating Officer at Sky's The Limit. Prior to this, Laura served as the Chief Solutions Officer at VolunteerMatch from August 2019 to November 2021. In this role, Laura was responsible for helping to forge the future of the organization as a member of the Executive Team.

Laura has also served as an Advisor for Market Development, CSR, Charity Auctions, Fundraising, and Crowdfunding at eSolidar from January 2019 to January 2021.

Throughout their career, Laura has been committed to strengthening and expanding VolunteerMatch's brand, community of partners, clients, and allies. Laura has also worked to enhance VolunteerMatch's position as the place for finding, matching, and engaging skilled volunteers, mentors, and board members.

Laura Plato's educational career includes a MSc in Economics & Criminal Justice Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Certificate in Coaching from the Academy for Coaching Excellence, and a BA with Honors in English from Scripps College. Laura also has certification from NovoEd in Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design and from the Academy for Coaching Excellence in Coaching.

Laura Plato reports to Bo Ghirardelli, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with and Erin Halley - VP, Member Experience.
