The board of directors at Skyword has a long and varied history, with members coming from a variety of backgrounds in both education and experience. Many of the members have experience in the media industry, holding positions such as chairman of the board of directors at LIN Media, senior director strategy and corporate development at Cox Enterprises, and president and CEO at Gather Inc. Other members have experience in fields such as finance (chief investment officer at Merrill Lynch Ventures), marketing (chief marketing officer at Questrom School of Business, Boston University), and technology (chief strategy officer and chief technology officer at EquiLife). The board also has members with diverse educational backgrounds, including degrees in finance, accounting, speech communication and rhetoric, systems engineering, and marketing.
