Tejinder Judge, Ph.D., currently serves as Principal User Researcher at Slack since October 2023. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Google from October 2011 to March 2023 included roles such as UX Research Manager for Google Search and Google Assistant, where Tejinder managed teams and developed key research programs to enhance product offerings targeting GenZ and improving Google Assistant's quality. Additional positions at Google involved leading UX research teams for the Google Play Store and Google for Families, influencing product directions, and launching successful features across multiple regions. Earlier experience includes research internships at IBM Almaden and Kodak Research Labs, focusing on collaboration personas and family communication technologies, as well as roles in academia as a Teaching Assistant and Usability Consultant. Tejinder holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
