George Popescu-Craiova

George Popescu-Craiova is an accomplished architect and engineer specializing in cloud, DevOps, and data science, currently serving as an Architect in Platform Engineering at Slalom Build since April 2021. George designed an AWS landing zone for advanced workloads and enhanced application infrastructure for a global energy company. Previous roles include Senior Engineer, Cloud Engineer, and Data Scientist across notable organizations such as BT and EE, focusing on cloud transitions, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced analytics. George has a strong educational background, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a Master’s in Business Analytics from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Bachelor’s in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from The University of Manchester.
