James Yu

James Yu is a seasoned investor with extensive experience in the technology sector, particularly focusing on public and private SaaS companies. Currently serving as an angel investor since April 2021, James has also held various significant investment roles, including seed investor at Slapdash and Partnered, both of which have been acquired, as well as investment positions at Jasper and Explo. Prior to their investment career, James accumulated a wealth of marketing expertise, serving as Director of Marketing at Basis.so and Datapeople, Director of Demand Generation at Airbase, and Head of Demand Generation at Lattice. James began the marketing journey as Head of Marketing at BackerKit. James holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
