Lead Level Designer at Sledgehammer Games

Michael How has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. michael began their career as a Call Centre Manager at Accor from 2003 to 2006, where they achieved record-breaking bookings through effective management techniques. Michael then transitioned into the gaming industry, starting as a Level Designer at Hellboy - Science Of Evil and later working on projects such as Light Saber Duels, Clone Wars, and Blade Kitten at Krome Studios. michael continued their career as a Game Designer at Krome Studios, focusing on projects like Game Room and Avatar Superstar Poker. Michael then moved on to Kennedy Miller and Mitchell Games, where they worked as a Senior Level Designer/Designer on Happy Feet 2 The Game. Following this, they joined Jagex as a Senior Level Designer for Transformers Universe and Stellar Dawn. Michael later worked at Rebellion as a Lead Designer for Sniper Elite 3 and Sniper Elite 4, managing a team and tailoring environments for sniper and stealth gameplay. michael then joined Creative Assembly as a Lead Level Designer for Halo Wars 2, where they took on various responsibilities such as collaborating with the directors group, creating milestone definitions, and training the design team. After Creative Assembly, Michael worked at Massive Entertainment - A Ubisoft Studio as a Lead Level Designer. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Level Designer at Sledgehammer Games. Alongside their game development career, Michael also owns Borrowed Time Films, where they take on film and photography projects globally.

Michael How attended QANTM from 2006 to 2007, where they studied for a Bachelor Of Interactive Entertainment with a major in Animation. Prior to that, they received a Diploma in Multimedia from TAFE NSW, completing their studies at this institution from 2001 to 2002.
